Here’s a little about my Journey…

The Early Years

I changed my university application from full-time to part-time so I could get a job to earn my own money. After 4 years at Chin Yee’s Travel and in my final year at university, against the approval of my parents, I seized an opportunity to embark on a career in Life Insurance. I set and achieved my goal to becoming the rookie of my branch and the entire company.

After 8 successful years at Life of Jamaica, exceeding industry targets year after year, I decided to do something new and in 1997 …I accepted an offer as Sales and Marketing Manager of a then fledgling radio station.

Within 6 months, I was offered and accepted the position as General Manager.

Over the next 4 years, I learnt to be a leader who creates a culture to meet and exceed an organization’s objective.

What I know is… with the right mindset, you can become The Person and The Leader you aspire to be. One that creates a culture that supports performance that gets results.
